The overarching goal of the Active Controls team is to build a propulsive liquid lander however, this mission requires that we apply advanced control algorithms and theory. In order to reduce the complexity of the problem and abridge the learning gap, the Active Controls team is engineering a vehicle that can self-stabilize, hover, and land with high-powered electric ducted fans (EDF).
